BuraqPass is operated by Buraq Alliance L.L.C-FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the BuraqPass app and website collect, why, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, company name, email address, mobile number and your role (equipment owner, inspection company or inspector).
- Machine records: machine type, capacity, make, model, serial number, photos, site locations and certificates you upload or that are issued to you.
- Inspection data: requests, schedules, checklists, notes, photos, reports and certificates created by inspection companies and their inspectors.
- Company documents: for inspection companies, the trade licence, approvals and other documents uploaded for review.
- Technical data: basic device and log information needed to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: store your machines and certificates, send requests to inspection companies and show you their progress.
- To send notifications and emails about requests, certificates and expiry reminders.
- To check inspection companies before they can receive requests.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
3. Who can see your information
- An inspection company sees the details of the requests sent to it and the machines in those requests.
- Inspectors see only the jobs assigned to them by their company.
- Public verification: anyone with a certificate's QR code or code can see that certificate's verification page (machine, certificate type, issuing company, dates and status). Do not share the code if you do not want it checked.
- Service providers who host our database and send our emails, under their own security commitments.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. Certificates and inspection reports may be kept after an account is closed where they are needed as safety and audit records for the other party (for example, the inspection company that issued them).
5. Your choices
- You can update your profile in the app at any time.
- You can delete your account from the app (More → Delete account), or ask us at support@buraqpass.com.
- You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to correct it.
6. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited by role, so each user sees only what belongs to them. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. If the change is important we will tell you in the app or by email.
